KBS 2TV’s Monday-Tuesday drama “The Law Cafe” Lee Seung-gi and Lee Se-young completed a beautiful ending with a happy ending that captured both justice and love.
The final episode of KBS 2TV’s Monday-Tuesday drama “The Law Cafe” (written by Lim Eui-jung, directed by Lee Eun-jin, produced by Jidam Media, Higround), which aired on Oct 25th, recorded 5.2% in the metropolitan area and 1.2% in terms of 2049 ratings based on Nielsen Korea. It soared to a maximum of 6.2% and ended as the strongest Monday-Tuesday drama, which maintained the throne for 16 consecutive episodes.
First, Kim Jeong-ho (Lee Seung-gi), who was attacked by Lee Pyeon-woong (Jo Han-chul), underwent surgery. After regaining consciousness, he told Kim Yu-ri (Lee Se-young), who must have been worried, “I’m sorry for making you go through such an incident yesterday. Even if you don’t want to see me and my family again, I can understand.” However, Kim Yu-ri confessed, “I love you, Jeong-ho. I love you, I love you, I love you, Kim Jeong-ho.”
Kim Jeong-ho and Kim Yu-ri then helped Do Jin-ki (Oh Dong-min) and Han Se-yeon (Kim Seul-gi), who were in conflict. Kim Yu-ri also tried to restore the relationship between Lee Yeon-joo (Lee Mi-sook) and Kim Seung-woon (Jeon No-min), but was upset when there was no improvement. Next, after talking about marriage with her mother Song Ok-ja (Hwang Young-hee), Kim Yu-ri woke up and ran to Kim Jeong-ho. She gave Kim Jeong-ho a surprise proposal “Even if people say there’s an end to us or if we become very sad and unhappy because of that end, I want to go with you. Let’s get married, Jeong-ho” and the two promised to get married.
Kim Jeong-ho was preoccupied after being offered to return to the prosecutor’s office, but chose to be a lawyer of Law Cafe instead of a prosecutor. And the day before the long-awaited wedding, Kim Jeong-ho invited Kim Seung-woon to his wedding, saying, “Let go of your burden.” The next day, the wedding of the two was held amid everyone’s blessings. Kim Jeong-ho promised eternity, “I became myself through you. If there’s anything good about me, it’s all you.” Kim Yu-ri replied, “I’ll love you until the day my heart runs out.”
