As “The Glory” actors Lim Ji Yeon and Lee Do Hyun admitted their romantic relationship, Lee Do Hyun’s reaction as if he was worried about Lim Ji Yeon is being re-examined.
Netflix Korea released a commentary video of “The Glory” through YouTube last February.
In episode 1, Moon Dong Eun (Song Hye Kyo) hit Park Yeon Jin (Lim Ji Yeon), who came to her house, with a tool. Watching this scene, Lee Do Hyun was surprised and asked, “Did you really hit her?”
Song Hye Kyo shook her head, “No, I would’ve gotten in trouble if I did that.” Lee Do Hyun seemed relieved, saying, “It looks real.”
Lim Ji Yeon explained, “It’s a little strange seeing myself when I’m not emotionally prepared. It was one of our few action scenes. It was a scene where we had to swing and land the punch well, so I think that’s what was hard about the scene.”
She added, “When I was preparing with just the script, I didn’t think I would be able to laugh like that, but as soon as I saw Hye Kyo’s face and her expression, that face and those lines just came out naturally. This is why fights among women are scary.”
Lee Do Hyun admired the two actresses’ performance, saying, “I’m too scared to sit in the middle.” Lim Ji Yeon burst into laughter at Lee Do Hyun’s reaction.
