Kim Woo-bin and Shin Min-ah couple donated 100 million won each to victims of the wildfires 

Celebrities continue to donate to help the victims recover from wildfires damage.

Actor Kim Woo-bin donated 100 million won to the Hope Bridge Disaster Relief Association on Mar 8th. Actress Shin Min-ah, his lover, also donated 100 million won the previous day and showed her good influence. Kim Woo-bin heard the news of wildfires damage while filming the Netflix drama “Delivery Driver” and immediately made a donation in contact with Hope Bridge. Actress Yoo Ji-tae and Kim Se-jung, a former member of the group Gugudan, donated 10 million won each while beauty YouTuber Song Ji-ah also delivered 20 million won. These donations will be used to support emergency relief supplies.

The previous day, MC Yoo Jae-seok and actress Kim Hye-soo donated 100 million won while actress Park Bo-young donated 50 million won. MC Jang Sung-kyu donated a total of 50 million won, including 30 million won to the Disaster Relief Association and 20 million won to the Ukrainian Embassy. Actress Yang Mi-ra also donated 10 million won to the Gyeongbuk Community Chest of Korea.

More celebrities have continued to deliver their warm hearts to the victims. Actress Song Hye-kyo and MC Jeon Hyun-moo each donated 100 million won to the Korean Red Cross and the Community Chest in Seoul, respectively. Actors Song Kang-ho, Lee Byung-hun, Lee Je-hoon, Shin Min-ah, Park Min-young, Lee Jong-seok, and singer IU each donated 100 million won to the Hope Bridge National Disaster Relief Association. Actress Kim Go-eun, Yoon Jung-hee, and Hyeri (former Girls’ Day member) each donated 50 million won. Rapper MC Mong delivered 33.33 million won to the victims, while talents Lee Hye-young, Yoon Se-ah, comedian Yoo Byung-jae, and Lee Seung-yoon each contributed a donation of 10 million won.

The Central Disaster and Safety Countermeasure Headquarters estimated that 21,2772ha of forest have been damaged by the fire that occurred on the east coast until 6 A.M today. The wildfires include 16,913ha in Uljin, 772ha in Samcheok, 1900ha in Gangeung, and 2100ha in the East Sea. The damaged area is more than a third of Seoul’s (60,500ha). It is 75.1 times the area of Yeouido (290ha), and 34,493 times the area of a soccer field (0,714ha).
