Kim Soo-hyun Reunited With Writer Of “My Love From The Star” And “Producer,” Will He Make History Again?

Kim Soo-hyun and writer Park Ji-eun collaborated in SBS’s “My Love from the Star” (2013-2014) and KBS 2TV’s “Producer” (2015) and now they have joined hands again for the third time in tvN’s new Saturday-Sunday drama “Queen of Tears,” which will premiere on March 9.

“Queen of Tears” tells the story of a 3-year couple overcoming their marriage crisis. Kim Soo-hyun and Kim Ji-won will act together as the main couple in this drama.

“Queen of Tears” drew attention early on as Kim Soo-hyun’s comeback work after the original Coupang Play series “One Ordinary Day” (2021) and Park Ji-eun’s return after tvN’s “Crash Landing on You” (2019-2020). “My Love from the Star,” a miracle-like romance between Do Min-joon (Kim Soo-hyun), an alien man who fell to Earth 400 years ago, and Chun Song-yi (Jeon Ji-hyun), a Korean-wave goddess actress, was a huge hit with a peak rating of 28.1%. It has created a craze in China, with Jeon Ji-hyun and Kim Soo-hyun dominating various award shows and commercials. They were loved all over Asia as Hallyu stars, especially in China, where the popularity of “Chicken and beer” boomed thanks to this drama. This is the reason why many people are paying attention to the third reunion between Kim Soo-hyun and Park Ji-eun.
