Kim Ji-won & Kim Soo-hyun To Hold Fanmeetings In Korea & Japan On The Same Day

Following the huge success of the drama “Queen of Tears”, Kim Soo-hyun and Kim Ji-won will hold fanmeetings to meet fans

Kim Ji-won will hold her first fanmeeting after 14 years after her debut, while Kim Soo-hyun plans to carry out his first Asian tour in 10 years.

According to HighZium Studio on May 3rd, Kim Ji-won will hold her solo fanmeeting “BE MY ONE” at Shinhan Card SOLPay Square Live Hall in Mapo-gu, Seoul on June 22nd and meet her fans for the first time in 14 years since her debut.

The title of the fanmeeting “BE MY ONE” contains the warm and affectionate meaning of Kim Ji-won and her fans becoming one for each other. In the poster released together with the fanmeeting news, Kim Ji-won exudes her natural beauty and charms, raising fans’ expectations for the fanmeeting.

More importantly, this is the first fanmeeting since Kim Ji-won’s debut so it’s much more special. The actress has drawn keen attention with her solid acting skills and outstanding visual in dramas such as “The Heirs”, “Descendants of the Sun”, “Fight For My Way”, “Arthdal Chronicles”, “My Liberation Notes”, and “Queen of Tears”. In particular, her most recent work “Queen of Tears” achieved the highest ratings in tvN history.

Kim Ji-won is expected to spend a gift-like time at her first fanmeeting. Through the YouTube channel of HighZium Studio, Kim Ji-won expressed her excitement, saying “I’m already excited to meet my fans up close! We’re working very hard. Please look forward to it. See you at the fanmeeting”.

Earlier on the 2nd, Kim Soo-hyun’s Japanese Fanclub ‘Always’ also delivered the news of the actor’s fanmeeting, saying “Thank you so much for always supporting Kim Soo-hyun. Actor Kim Soo-hyun, who gained popularity around the world with the role of Baek Hyun-woo in ‘Queen of Tears’, will meet with Japanese fans”.

“2024 Kim Soo-hyun Asia Tour In Japan: Eyes On You” will take place on the 22nd and 23rd of June at Pia Arena MM in Yokohama. Tickets are set at 13,000 yen (about 115,000 won) each and each account can purchase up to four tickets per performance.

This is Kim Soo-hyun’s first Asia in 10 years since 2014. After finishing the drama “My Love From The Star”, Kim Soo-hyun spent three months meeting a total of 50,000 fans around 9 cities in 7 Asian countries, including Thailand, Singapore, Indonesia, and Japan.

“Queen of Tears” fans, who are still into the drama, reacted, “Aren’t the fonts on their posters look the same?”, “Since they will do fanmeetings on the same day, it would be difficult for them to come to each other’s event as guests”, etc.

Meanwhile, tvN’s Sat-Sun drama “Queen of Tears” became the highest-rating drama in tvN history by recording 24.9%, surpassing “Crash Landing on You” 21.7%.
