Kim Hyun Joong mentions the paternity lawsuit related to his ex-girlfriend, “I got pushed to the edge of the cliff. I have to keep my phone in a safe place”
Kim Hyun Joong, actor and member of SS501, talks about the controversy over the paternity lawsuit in relation to his ex-girlfriend.
Kim Hyun Joong will appear on MBN’s entertainment program “Passionate Goodbye”, which is scheduled to air at 10:40 P.M on November 28th.
According to the production team, Kim Hyun Joong will open up about life stories that he has never shared before.
Before visiting ‘Hello House’, he wraps his cell phone in a bag and puts it in the ‘Hi Bye’ box, raising the curiosity of Eugene, Eun Ji Won, and Hwang Je Seong.
After greeting each other, a cast member asks Kim Hyun Joong, “What is that cell phone used for?”. Kim Hyun Joong replies, “I’ve been through by so many incidents”, referring to his 5-year legal battle.
He continues, “I don’t know what would happen to me, so I have been keeping my cell phone in a safe place”, adding “It was a kind of situation I only saw in movies. However, this cell phone did become the evidence that protected me in real life”.
Kim Hyun Joong says, “I had a hard time, but I’m totally fine now”, then smiles brightly. He confesses, “In fact, if I hadn’t been pushed to the edge of the cliff, I wouldn’t have become strong and hard like this. I’ve gotten rid of all the regrets and self-blame.”
He shares, “After passing through a long tunnel, I can’t believe in people anymore”, expressing his concerns about his relationships that have been narrowed down. Upon hearing this, Eun Ji Won, who reunites with Kim Hyun Joong for the first time in 7 years, and other cast members give warm and supportive advice to him.
The production team revealed, “Kim Hyun Joong, who is showing a more comfortable appearance after relieving his pains, instantly performed a self-composed song that contains his emotions with his guitar on the set and drew applause from the members. He also manages the scene with his unique sense of entertainment. Please look forward to the meeting between the cast and Kim Hyun Joong with their extraordinary chemistry.”
Meanwhile, Kim Hyun Joong was accused of assaulting his ex-girlfriend A in 2015, when he was serving in the military. A then demanded a compensation of 1.6 billion won after filing a paternity suit against Kim Hyun Joong.
About a month after his military discharge when the lawsuit with A had not been settled completely, Kim Hyun Joong was caught drunk driving. The police also suspended his license.
