Kim Hee-sun, “I Felt Like I Raised Jung Kyung-ho”

In the latest episode of tvN’s “Watcha Up To?” which aired on July 4th, Kim Hee-sun recalled when she first met Jung Kyung-ho.

In this episode, the show’s cast, Kim Hee-sun, Lee Soo-geun, Lee Young-ji, and Young Hoon, gathered at a café which was renovated from a bathhouse where the owner have stayed for 46 years. “I was also the daughter of a bathhouse. 30 years ago,” Kim suddenly said, referring to her role in the drama “The Bathhouse People.“

Kim Hee-sun recalled, “The director was Jung Eul-young, Jung Kyung-ho’s father. I was in my early 20s at that time, and Jung Kyung-ho came to the public bathhouse where his father was filming.“

Kim Hee-sun said, “Since he was the director’s son, I anpproached and asked, ‘How old are you?’ and he said, ‘I’m 12 years old.’ I saw him grow up. I felt like I raised him, to become such a great man.“
