Actress Kim Hae-sook expressed her passion for acting and affection for the upcoming film “Our Season”
Kim Hae-sook appeared on the Dec 2nd broadcast of JTBC’s “Newsroom”.
To the MC’s words “You said you feel a greater sense of responsibility when playing the role of a mother“, Kim Hae-sook said, “I have my own acting principles. I don’t want to repeat the similar aspects shown in previous works.“
In “Our Season”, Kim Hae-sook plays the role of Bok-ja, a mother who comes down from the sky on a three-day vacation and stays with her daughter Jin-joo (Shin Min-ah).
Kim Hae-sook explained, “Just by looking at the title, there may be a preconception that it’ll be sad, so I thought a lot about how to eliminate the stereotype.”
She added, “Those who watched the movie laughed a lot in interesting parts, felt similar to their own lives in some parts, and cried in other parts. We, the actors, also cried so much that we went to the press conference with swollen eyes.”
