Kang Mina has directly addressed recent rumors suggesting conflict among members of the project girl group I.O.I.
The actress and singer recently communicated with fans through a fan messaging platform, where she firmly denied speculation about tension within the group.
“Even today, the members are telling each other they miss one another and congratulating each other. We practically exchange messages every single day,” Kang Mina shared.

She also expressed frustration toward the ongoing rumors, adding: “Why do people live so tiredly making up feud rumors? Instead, they should spend that time congratulating the members on their achievements.”
The rumors surfaced after I.O.I celebrated their 10th debut anniversary on May 19 by releasing their third mini album I.O.I : LOOP.

However, not all original members participated in the comeback activities. Members Jeon Somi, Kim Sejeong, Choi Yoojung, Chungha, Kim Sohye, Jung Chaeyeon, Kim Doyeon, Lim Nayoung, and Yoo Yeonjung took part in the reunion promotions.
Kang Mina and Chinese member Zhou Jieqiong (known in Korea as Ju Kyul Kyung) did not participate due to individual schedules, leading some online users to speculate about possible internal conflict.
Kang Mina had previously reassured fans about the situation as well, explaining that every member made the best decision possible based on their individual circumstances.

“Just like everyone is trying to make the best choices in their own positions, I also made the best choice for myself and I don’t regret it,” she stated.
She also comforted fans concerned about malicious comments online, admitting that hurtful remarks can sometimes affect her emotionally but insisting they do not deeply impact her overall happiness.
Meanwhile, Kang Mina recently appeared in the Netflix series Girigo, continuing to expand her acting career following her idol activities.
