Hyolyn has reportedly been hospitalized following a sudden health issue, leading to the cancellation of her scheduled appearance at a music event in Taiwan.
The singer was originally expected to perform at the G!POP Music Festival hosted by the Fubon Guardians on May 30. However, on the evening of May 27, her agency released an official statement confirming that Hyolyn had been rushed to the hospital for emergency treatment.
According to the statement, medical staff determined that hospitalization and complete rest should be prioritized for the singer’s recovery.
The agency explained: “Based on the current medical team’s assessment, Hyolyn’s hospitalization and stable recovery must be the top priority. After carefully considering her health and safety, we regretfully inform everyone that she will not be able to attend the scheduled event.”
The company also apologized to fans for the sudden cancellation.
Shortly afterward, the Fubon Guardians organization issued its own public announcement confirming that Hyolyn would no longer participate in the post-game concert performance due to her health condition.
The baseball club stated that the artist required sufficient rest and treatment following medical evaluation and asked fans for understanding regarding the unexpected change.
To compensate attendees, the organizers announced that rookie band QWER would extend their scheduled performance to a full one-hour set during the event.
The team additionally confirmed that ticket refunds would be available without cancellation fees until 11:59 PM on May 29 for fans affected by the lineup change.
