Ji Seok-jin Reveals Reason He Disliked Haha During “Running Man” Early Days
Comedian Ji Seok-jin explained why he didn’t like his “Running Man” teammate Haha in the first place
On March 22nd, Haha’s YouTube channel “HAHA PD” uploaded a new video featuring the guest appearance of Ji Seok-jin.
While having a meal with Ji Seok-jin, Haha praised his brother, saying “He’s a little old but there’s no wall between us”. Emphasizing that Ji Seok-jin is his role mother, Haha exposed, “But he hated me at first”.
While Ji Seok-jin was embarrassed by the sudden attack, Haha asked him for the reason. In response, Ji Seok-jin recalled when he couldn’t adapt to “Running Man” during the early days. He confessed that there was a conflict inside him and he even wondered, “Is joining this show the right thing to do?”. It was because his role was changed from being a host to a cast member.
Ji Seok-jin then shared, “I feel proud when I play my role well. And back then I felt like I was only taking money without fulfilling my role. I thought it would affect me negatively if I kept doing that.”
He then pointed at Haha and said, “He was the most annoying person. When I didn’t want to say anything, he kept shouting, ‘Hyung, say something’. That’s why I didn’t want to see him”, making Haha burst into laughter with his brother’s honest confession.
Haha wondered, “Was it that bad? What did I say? Why did you only talk about it behind my back?”. Ji Seok-jin countered, “I’m not the type that gossip behind one’s back”.
However, Ji Seok-jin said, “I though it was his fault, but looking back on it after many years, it turns out to be my fault”, creating a warm atmosphere.
