Jeon Jong-seo’s Side Refutes School Violence Allegations & Announces Legal Response
Actress Jeon Jong-seo expressed her position regarding the school violence allegations spreading online recently
On April 4th, Jeon Jong-seo’s agency stated, “As soon as we became aware of the post in online communities, we thoroughly checked the facts with the actress and people around her. As a result, we confirmed that the claims are not true at all”.
They continued, “Judging that the information is clearly false, we’ve refrained from making an official position. However, speculative posts and malicious comments are spreading indiscriminately, causing serious mental damage to the actress and the people around her. Accordingly, we’ve decided to take necessary legal action through our legal representative to protect the actress”.
The agency added, “For the time being, our company will actively respond to not only unilateral claims but also malicious posts, comments, etc. that go beyond expressions of opinions such as postings without checking the facts, malicious interpretations that exaggerate the facts, etc.”
