Jay Park to resign from the CEO position of AOMG and H1ghr Music: “Will maintain a good relationship”
Following Simon Dominic, Jay Park will also step down from his post.
On December 31st, Jay Park released a long statement on his Instagram, saying, “After a lot of long considerations and decisions, I decided to resign as CEO of AOMG and H1ghr Music.”
“I think everyone will be surprised to hear this news, but I will continue to play the role of advisor to AOMG and H1ghr Music and we will maintain a good relationship like family members,” he said. “I would like to thank the fans for trusting me every time no matter what challenge I take, and I hope you will continue to support me, AOMG and H1ghr Music.”
He also thanked the artists, executives and employees of AOMG and H1ghr Music, saying, “Even if I joke a lot every day, I never think lightly or easily about us being together for a moment, and I’m very proud and honored to be able to make history together with you guys.” Finally, he added, “I have been doing my best so far and I will continue to do my best in my role.”
Simon Dominic, who was previously co-chairman with Jay Park, has resigned from his post in July 2018.
