Girl group IVE is setting their sights on a comeback in October with preparations currently in full swing.
According to music industry insiders, IVE is preparing to return in the 1st week of October and is currently in the final stages of preparing for their comeback.
After releasing their first full-length album in April, IVE is set to make their comeback in October, marking the end of their activities for 2023. It is known that after this comeback, the girl group is also scheduled to hold their first solo concert since debut. This will be a full-scale concert, not a fanmeeting.
Meanwhile, after their debut in December 2021, IVE had an exceptional year with three consecutive hit songs, “ELEVEN,” “LOVE DIVE,” and “AFTER LIKE,” sweeping the major music awards and receiving not only the Rookie of the Year award but also the Grand Prize Daesang Award. In April 2023, they released their full-length album “I’ve IVE”, which showcased a new musical challenge with the pre-release song “Kitsch” and the title track “I AM”. Though the opinions of critics and the public differed in terms of preferences, the album achieved respectable results.
On the other hand, as their comeback is quickly approaching, IVE has declared war on internet users who have been continuously tormenting them. Their agency, Starship Entertainment, stated that irregardless of the perpetrators’ apology, they will pursue legal actions to the fullest extent through ongoing civil and criminal lawsuits.
“We plan to take all possible legal actions without any agreement in the future for cases of artist defamation and additional damage”, Starship also added.
