“I’m Kim Yu-na who just got married…I would like to tell you all about my feelings about getting married”

Former figure skater Kim Yu-na expressed her feelings about getting married.

Kim Yu-na said on her Instagram on Oct 23rd, “Hello, I’m Kim Yu-na. I met a good person and we promised our future together, thanks to which I had a beautiful wedding yesterday amid many blessings,” she wrote. 

She then continued, “We sincerely thank everyone who has congratulated us. And we would like to express our gratitude to many people who helped us in the preparation process,” she said. “As much as we are blessed like this, we will do our best to live a good life! Thank you,” she added.

The photos released together with the letter show Kim Yu-na in a pure white wedding dress holding a bouquet and posing at the end of a wedding flower road decorated with flowers.

Meanwhile, Kim Yu-na and Ko Woo-rim had a private wedding at the Shilla Hotel in Seoul on the afternoon of Oct 22nd. The couple, who are five years apart, first met in 2018 through the “All That Skating Ice Show” celebration stage, developed into lovers, and became a married couple after three years of dating.

At the wedding, members of Forrestella, Ko Woo-rim‘s team, sang the celebratory song, while stars such as Shin Dong-yeop, Son Ho-young, Jung Soo-jung, Lee Sang-hwa, Yoon Sung-bin, and Yoo Seung Min attended as guests to cheer for the couple’s new start.
