GOT The Beat Will Never Comeback, Said Girls’ Generation’s Taeyeon

Girls’ Generation’s Taeyeon recently confirmed that there will be no more comeback for SM’s female “supergroup” GOT The Beat .

Back in 2022, the supergroup GOT The Beat, which comprises of 7 female idols under SM Entertainment: BoA, Girls’ Generation’s Taeyeon and Hyoyeon, Red Velvet’s Seulgi and Wendy, and aespa’s Karina and Winter, made their grand debut, drawing massive attention.

However, after 2 releases, the latest being in January 2023, GOT The Beat has got no new activities, despite high anticipations from K-pop fans.

Unfortunately, it seems that GOT The Beat has ended once and for all, as revealed by Girls’ Generation’s Taeyeon when she appeared on the YouTube channel of Super Junior D&E.

In particular, in a video titled “SM best in vocal, best in appearance, and… NewJeans is the best😍 | EP.1 Taeyeon” published on March 28, Taeyeon was asked if GOT The Beat has a group chat, to which she responded positively.

However, Taeyeon also admitted that the group chat is no longer active, adding that the doors to GOT The Beat’s comeback “have been shut tight”.

As a result, the female idol basically confirmed that GOT The Beat has ended once and for all, much to the disappointment of fans.
