The management agency’s method of dealing with the dating rumor in the new drama “Sh**ting Stars”, which depicts incidents surrounding the entertainment industry, attracted many people’s attention.
“Sh**ting Stars” is a romantic comedy that depicts the realistic story of people who stand behind the celebrities and shed blood, sweat, tears to make them shine like stars in the sky.
On this day, Oh Han-byul (Lee Sung-kyung), the head of the public relations department at Star Force Entertainment, had a blind date with Park Jo-eun (Park Jeong-min).
Meanwhile, she got a call from Kim Mi-nyeo (Jung Ji-an), the assistant manager of the public relations department. Star Force Entertainment’s actor Jang Seok-woo (Jang Do-ha) was rumored to be dating.
Oh Han-byul asked her blind date for an excuse and left for a while to find out the situation. She received a phone call from Park Ho-young (Kim Yoon-hye), the head of the management 2 department at Star Force Entertainment.
Oh Han-byul immediately asked, “We’re going to issue an official statement saying that is not true at all, right?” Park Ho-young replied, “Yes, they’re close seniors and juniors.”
When Oh Han-byul asked if the photos related to the dating rumor were taken during the after-show party, Park Ho-young said, “Yes, it was three days ago.”
In response, Oh Han-byul told her to say that the staff were also there, and Park Ho-young agreed.
Afterwards, Oh Han-byul told her blind date that something urgent happened to the company and left first. She then repeatedly explained to reporters’ calls, “They’re close seniors and juniors” and “The staff were there as well.”
Meanwhile, at the press conference for “Sh**ting Stars”, Lee Sung-kyung said, “When I read the script, I thought it was real. They expressed it in detail well. I sympathized with the entertainment departments’ hardships and realistic stories. I think the synchronization is about 95%.”
“Sh**ting Stars” airs every Friday and Saturday at 10:40 PM.
