On Jan 12th, Hyeri uploaded a video on her YouTube channel, showing her spending a delightful time with (G)I-DLE Miyeon.
In the video, Hyeri asked Miyeon, “How do you feel when you hear bad words (negative comments, etc.)?“
Miyeon replied, “These days, people have really sharp eyes. When I see that, I can relate.”
Miyeon showed her cool attitude, “If I sang a song and something went wrong, I would notice it myself. If someone says ‘You didn’t sing well’, I admit it.“
She asked back, “People who say ‘(I just) don’t like you. You’re not good’, aren’t there very few of them?“
Hyeri calmly responded, “There are people who dislike me without reason. Actually, I don’t mind when I see things like that.“
Hyeri stated, “Comments like ‘Her face looks dark’, ‘Her nose is big’ (malicious comments) aren’t worth caring about.“
Miyeon added, “People can simply like someone, and those who like you might think ‘I just like Hyeri’. So, there are also people who might just dislike you. Since we are celebrities, I feel like we can think like that.”
Hyeri commented, “That’s a healthy mindset. Now I realized that some people just dislike someone because they don’t match with that person. It can happen.”
