(G)I-DLE on “Salon Drip”, “We feel lonely living alone and miss the dorm life, but we don’t want to live together again”
Girl group (G)I-DLE appeared on the web entertainment program “Salon Drip”.
On June 27th, the Youtube channel “TEO” uploaded a new video of the web program “Salon Drip” featuring (G)I-DLE members Miyeon, Soyeon and Yuqi as guests.
In the video, Soyeon mentioned the addictive melody of (G)I-DLE’s new song “Queencard”, saying “I made the song while thinking ‘Wouldn’t a hook song become viral easily?’”.
Regarding the members’ conversation in the introduction of “Queencard”, Miyeon said, “We talked to each other a lot during our practices”, adding “The feeling was like making fighting gestures and looking down on someone”. In response to the playful question, “Do you often look down on someone?”, she laughed and said, “I’ve never done that before”.
Miyeon, who recently challenged her first solo entertainment program with “HMLYCP”, expressed her special feelings, saying “While playing various games, I had a chance to look back on my life. It felt like a small life”.
When (G)I-DLE failed to guess their hit songs, they said, “We were so nervous. We even thought could we get back as a team? But the members don’t expect that anyway. We’re just comfortable with it”.
Jeon So Yeon was known for her straightforward and critical comments as a judge on the audition program “Boy Fantasy”. In this regard, she explained, “I actually made many good comments, but only my bad side was shown. I gave lots of compliments, but when I watched the videos on the Internet, I just looked like a bad person”.
Hearing that, Jeon Do Yeon encouraged Soyeon, “In the end, you made such comments for the sake of the contestants”.
(G)I-DLE members have moved out of their dormitory and started living on their own. Jeon So Yeon confessed, “I feel lonely living alone these days. It wasn’t like that at first, but as time goes by, I’m starting to miss the dorm life”.
However, when asked, “Then, do you want to return to the dorm and live together again?”, the members immediately refused it, saying, “We don’t miss it that much”, drawing laughter.
