BIGBANG’s T.O.P, the first Korean civilian to tour the moon, proudly boasted of his spaceship boarding pass

T.O.P, a member of BIGBANG, showed off his spaceship boarding pass ahead of his trip to the moon.

On February 21st, BIGBANG’s T.O.P posted a fan-made boarding pass for the #dearMoon project on his Instagram story.

On the boarding pass, there are an edited photo of T.O.P in a spacesuit, the Korean flag, NASA and SpaceX logos, and first class signs.

Along with this, T.O.P expressed his excitement by announcing the “Dear Moon” project.

Previously, T.O.P was selected as one of eight participants in “Dear Moon”, a civilian lunar tourism project planned by Japanese billionaire Yusaku Maezawa, where people get to travel around the moon orbit on a spaceship developed by SpaceX, an American space exploration company founded by Elon Musk, for about 7 days.

In March 2021, Yusaku Maezawa openly recruited people around the world to fly to the moon. At the time, he received a lot of attention, with more than 1 million people applying from 249 countries and regions. The expenses are fully supported.

In addition to T.O.P, the “Dear Moon” Project includes American DJ and producer Steve Aoki, who made his name known through collaboration with BTS, American musician and YouTuber Tim Todd, Czech choreographer Yemi AD, Irish photographer Ryanan Adam, British photographer Karim Illya, and American film Artists from various countries and fields were selected, including producer Brendan Hall and Indian actor Dev Joshi.

In a video released on the YouTube channel “dearMoon” on February 9th, T.O.P said, “I was very happy when I heard that I was selected as a crew member. As a Korean citizen and an artist, I feel great pride and responsibility as the first civilian to go to the moon on behalf of my country.”
