Cha Eun Woo, “I often watch videos of other actors giving acceptance speeches… It’s my own mind-control routine”
Singer-actor Cha Eun Woo talked about his growth.
On February 21st, Cha Eun Woo appeared at a cafe in Yeoksam-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, and shared talks about TVing’s original series “Island” as well as himself. He plays Yo Han, the youngest priest in the Vatican.
Cha Eun Woo is nicknamed “face genius” thanks to his outstanding visual. He is praised for his perfect image as a person who has both a good-looking appearance and an excellent academic record during his school days.
Cha Eun Woo confessed, “There are times when I feel tired, exhausted, and sad. However, I’m grateful to have many people around who approach me first. I eat delicious food and talk with them to relax my mind. I receive huge influence from people around me”, adding “I often save videos of people giving acceptance speeches at awards ceremonies on Youtube to watch. I find and save videos of other actors, seniors, Korean actors, and also foreign actors.” Regarding the reason, he explained, “Every time I watch those videos, I once feel like I want to work hard. It’s like my own mind-control routine.”
When asked about his solution when he loses confidence, Cha Eun Woo said, “Sometimes I try to endure it, sometimes I try to fix it. If I work hard step by step, things will get better. I’m doing what I have to do every day. It’s the same for others”.
Regarding his big future plan, Cha Eun Woo said, “You never know what will happen tomorrow”, adding “I haven’t thought about it in detail, but I hope ‘Island’ Part 2 will do well”. He added, “As an entertainer, I’m also greedy for several things. If I try to get them one by one, I think they will lead me somewhere someday. If you set a goal that is too far in the future, you will easily get tired. I feel proud about what I’m doing right now, and I’m doing things little by little.”
“Island” introduced 6 episodes of Part 1 in January and will release Part 2 starting February 24th.
