From elegance to chicness, BLACKPINK Jennie makes jaw-dropping transformation at Met Gala 2023

BLACKPINK Jennie flaunted her various charms in her latest vlog update. 

Recently, BLACKPINK Jennie released the “Met Gala Vlog” on her personal YouTube channel – “Jennierubyjane” – on July 15. 

The video revealed the preparation process for Jennie’s stunning Camellia-inspired look for the Met Gala in May. Overcoming nervousness before making her appearance at the Met, Jennie returned to her hotel room feeling triumphant more than ever. Moreover, she did not forget to thank the staff, saying, “Thank you, everyone, for complimenting me and saying that I look beautiful.” The “SOLO” singer also drew attention with her bright, childlike charm. 

However, with only a few seconds left, Jennie still arrested attention by switching to a totally different look. She donned a black dress and put on many pearl necklaces to add layers, exuding a chic charm. 

At the world’s largest fashion charity event Met on May 1, Jennie appeared in a braided hairstyle that resembled a headband kept in place with camellia-shaped pins. Her dress at the event is said to have been specially produced by reinterpreting Chanel’s 1990 costume collection by Karl Lagerfeld.
