On December 9th, SM confirmed these suspicions by telling Xports News, “It is correct that Lami will debut as an actress under SM.”
Born in 2003, Lami became known to the world in 2013 as a member of SM Rookies, a predebut trainee team under SM Entertainment. Prior to this, she also gained attention as a child actress, having appeared in “Five Fingers”, “A Perfect Spy”, and “Me Too, Flower!”.
SM Rookies was a pre-debut team that revealed rookies who were trained by SM and hold high possibilities of debuting.
