FIFTY FIFTY’s agency Attrakt to launch new girl group project with the goal of 2024 debut

Attrakt begins recruiting members for a new group project despite the ongoing contract dispute with FIFTY FIFTY

On September 4th, Attrakt said, “We start a new debut project to foster a new girl group”. They added, “All the members of this new girl group will be selected through an audition program. The public will be able to see the entire process.”

Attrakt plans to prioritize the public’s preferences as important criteria to judge, and through this project, the agency is expected to present a completely new concept and direction from other auditions.

Earlier on August 25th, Attrakt signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for investment with Singaporean global investment company Evergreen Group Holdings. Apart from investing directly in Attrakt, Evergreen Group Holdings plans to attract 10 billion won of investment from Singapore’s leading investment funds in September. Through this investment, Attrakt’s corporate value was estimated to be around 60 billion won.

Meanwhile, FIFTY FIFTY decided to submit an appeal after their application for an injunction for exclusive contract termination against Attrakt was rejected by the court last month. In addition, FIFTY FIFTY also announced the plan to file a lawsuit on the merits, this legal battle is expected to continue for a long time.
