‘Drunk Driving’ Kim Sae-ron Resumes SNS Activities And Unveils New Profile Photos, Hints Of Comeback?

Actress Kim Sae-ron suddenly released new profile photos on her SNS account

On December 16th, Kim Sae-ron uploaded more than 10 new profile pictures with various emoticons in her captions. The actress tried three concepts with different moods and showcased her diverse charms.

This is Kim Sae-ron’s first SNS activity after one year and seven months since her last post, which was her handwritten apology for causing a drunk driving accident on May 19th last year.

At around 8 a.m. on May 18th, 2022, Kim Sae-ron crashed into guardrails, street trees and transformers several times while driving near the Hakdong Intersection in Cheongdam-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul. Her blood alcohol concentration at that time was over 0.2%, which had exceeded the level for driving license revocation. After being handed over to trial, Kim Sae-ron was fined 20 million won and she did not appeal the ruling. 

Although Kim Sae-ron has suspended her activities since the accident, the Netflix series “Bloodhounds” she had already filmed was released as scheduled in June of the same year. According to reports, the production team decided that it was impossible to remove Kim Sae-ron’s role and scenes entirely to preserve the story flow.

In August this year, Kim Sae-ron acted in the music video for producer EI brothers’s new song “Bittersweet”. Appearing with bright blond hair, she played the guitar and danced.
