“Criticize Son Seok Gu” Nam Myung Ryul “The writings of those with the title of reporter have different meanings”
Actor Nam Myung Ryul targeted reporters who criticized him in connection with his criticism of Son Seok Gu’s “fake acting” remarks.
On August 4th, Nam Myung Ryul uploaded a long post titled “Object of Censure”.
He captured screenshots of articles that criticized his remarks. He said “It’s okay to criticize me by expressing your personal opinions” then pointed out, “The writings of those with the title of reporter have different meanings.”
At the same time, he confessed, “It feels like I saw the bare face of reporters in an era of unbearable lightness, so I feel depressed.”
In the comments section, he added, “In the first article, you chose a picture in which I looked obstinate. In the second article, you chose a picture in which I looked gentle. This is image propaganda.”
Previously, Son Seok Gu caused controversy when he said “In the script, it said ‘whispering love’, but in that case, they should have given us microphones. Being asked to not whisper for real on the stage made me feel like I was doing fake acting” at the press conference for the play “Army on the Tree” last June.
Regarding this, Nam Myung Ryul criticized Son Seok Gu, “If all acting is about portraying fictional characters, then it is absurd to define what real acting is.“
