Controversy Over Filming During Choi Soo-young’s Play “Wife”, “They Took Photos When She Was Changing Clothes”

Recently, netizens have been sharing reviews of the ongoing play “Wife” in online communities. These comments pointed out the problem of insufficient management at the venue, LG Art Center Seoul.

Many people complained that some audiences suddenly took out cameras during the performance and kept taking photos. They expressed dissatisfaction, saying the staff in the concert hall did not stop those who filmed the performance.

On the ticketing website of “Wife”, there’s a review, saying “I couldn’t see and hear anything during the performances because some people kept taking pictures. They took like 300 pictures throughout the performance and it was my worst experience ever. No one stopped them, and no matter how much I complained, the staff stayed silent. Do not manage a performance like this again”, drawing attention.

Amid the criticism over the lack of management at the venue, Choi Soo-young’s fans were also accused of causing inconvenience.

In this regard, netizens commented, “Choi Soo-young might not be able to concentrate on the performance and avoid the cameras”, “It’s because of the insufficient management.
