Chungha “My mother raised me alone in America… I paid off debts and bought a house” (My Little Old Boy)

Singer Chungha mentioned her filial duty.

Chungha appeared as a special MC on SBS’ “My Little Old Boy“, which aired on August 7th.

Regarding her filial duty, Chungha said, “Realistically, I paid off debts. I also bought a small house and changed a new car for my mother.”

She added, “This has been the happiest thing lately. There’s a song on the album that I gave to my mother as a gift. My mother raised me alone in America, and I think she felt sorry for me. Because I had to go to school alone. Just thinking about that time brings tears to my eyes.”

When asked about the most hateful thing she did to her mother, Chungha replied, “She wouldn’t have thought I’d get a job in dancing and singing. My mother had a hard time putting me through school in the U.S., but she must have been in a mental breakdown because I said I wanted to dance.”
