CEO Kim Kwang-soo “If Yoo Jun-won returns to Fantasy Boys, the 3 billion won lawsuit will be withdrawn”

CEO Kim Kwang-soo of PocketDol Studio, which is in charge of managing boy group Fantasy Boys, extended a hand to Yoo Jun-won

On Dec 5th, CEO Kim Kwang-soo stated, “If Yoo Jun-won acknowledges his mistake and returns before the Tokyo concert, we will discuss it with the members and go together.

Yoo Jun-won was slated to debut as Fantasy Boys’ center after winning first place on MBC’s audition program “Fantasy Boys” (produced by Phunky Studio). However, Yoo Jun-won left the team, claiming that the management agency PocketDol Studio and Phunky Studio demanded unreasonable contract terms. He filed for an injunction to suspend the effect of the exclusive contract, but the court rejected it.

Phunky Studio has filed a 3 billion won damage compensation lawsuit against Yoo Jun-won. However, CEO Kim stated that if Yoo Jun-won returns to Fantasy Boys, such a large lawsuit will be withdrawn.

CEO Kim said, “There are legal issues, but we will persuade Phunky Studio to withdraw the lawsuit. We will even bear the lawyer fees. If the lawsuit period is prolonged, it seems to have a negative impact on Yoo Jun-won’s future.

Currently, Phunky Studio has submitted a complaint for the 3 billion won damage compensation lawsuit, and Yoo Jun-won’s side has appointed a lawyer and submitted a written response. Although the trial date has not been set yet, it is expected that the full-fledged lawsuit will proceed between the end of this year and early next year.
