BTS’s V has ascended to the top of the fashion world as the most influential male fashion influencer globally

V secures the first place in the men’s celebrity category and ranking third overall in Lefty’s 2023 “Top Fashion Influencers of the Year.”

The star topping the “Top Fashion Influencers 10” list in 2023 is Kim Kardashian, who has her own brand worth a staggering 5.2 trillion won.

V and soccer star David Beckham are the only two men to make it to the top 10, showcasing V’s distinctive presence not only as a singer but also as a global fashion icon.

Lefty’s selection for the “Top Fashion Influencers of the Year” is based on the Media Value Evaluation (EMV) of social media and user engagement metrics such as likes and comments. Despite restricting comments to everyone except BTS members, V’s engagement rate (ER) recorded the highest.

Lefty evaluated V’s Instagram value at approximately 2.65 billion dollars and converted the engagement rate to 20.6%. The Lefty Index is utilized as evidence of the promotional impact of global ambassadors.

V serves as a global ambassador for the French luxury brands Celine and Cartier, and his influence in the fashion industry has directly impacted both brands.

Brand Finance, a UK brand consulting firm, reported a 51% growth rate for Celine after recruiting V as an ambassador. Every Celine product worn by V experienced a sell-out.

In June 2022, V’s presence at Celine’s first official event during Paris Fashion Week caused chaos, with crowds flocking to see him, resulting in widespread disruption. Celine’s fashion show became the hottest event during Paris Fashion Week, earning V the title of a “megastar” by French weekly magazine Paris Match.

Upon V’s appointment as a global ambassador for Cartier, the Cartier website crashed within minutes due to a surge in traffic. The necklace worn by V in a campaign, priced at 26,700 dollars, sold out instantly.
