BTS V has shown his remarkable popularity by making it to Top 8 of “Top Instagram Influencers in The United States”
According to the influencer analysis site Hype Auditor, as of May 17th, BTS V was ranked 8th out of the most influential Instagrammer in the US, as proof of his huge impact.
From the announced list, the Top Instagram Influencers in the US includes Kendall Jenner, Kylie Jenner, Kim Kardashian, Selena Gomez, Ariana Grande, Taylor Swift, and Billie Eilish, alongside two BLACKPINK members Lisa and Jennie. V was the only male celebrity to make the Top 10.
Previously on May 7th, the male idol also ranked 9th in the “Instagram Influencers Top 1000” list for celebrities around the world, making him the highest-ranking among Koreans. Since opening his personal Instagram account back in December of last year, V has secured followers at an amazing pace and officially received two world records from the “Guinness World Records”.
According to Guinness, the male idol is the fastest to have gained 1 million followers and 10 million followers on Instagram. Currently, his total number of followers has surpassed 41.5 million, and he has constantly been the most-followed Korean celebrity from January to April 2022, according to a report by K-pop Radar.
The photos and releases posted by V also enjoy great popularity, having broken various records themselves. In particular, a photo of V’s dog Yeontan has become the first post made by an Asian celebrity to surpass 19 million likes, and was named in the “Top 20 Most Liked Posts on Instagram”. This makes V the only Asian entry on the list, alongside top stars like Cristiano Ronaldo, Ariana Grande, Tom Holland, Messi, Billie Eilish, and many others.
Even more impressive, V’s Instagram reels also received a lot of love. A video of V dancing along in a jazz bar reached 20 million views within 13 hours, the fastest to reach such a milestone after another video posted by Cristiano Ronaldo.
