BTS revealed the difficulties and derision that they experienced in the past.
Recently, BTS’ biography “Beyond the Story: 10-Year Record of BTS” has hit the shelves. Apart from the honorable achievements during a decade of working, the biography also mentioned unforgettable experiences, difficulties, and hardships that BTS had to endure.
J-Hope retold the story of promoting “Danger” on music shows. The boy group reportedly had to do 20 takes for one music show and was given instructions on how to appear on a live TV broadcast. Nonetheless, they were not mentioned as nominees.
V further elaborated and said that BTS was not upset about not getting a nomination. Instead, they took to heart when people at the broadcast station ignored and ridiculed them when they were not nominated.
BTS members admitted that they cried and felt angered and frustrated when the group was a target of ridicule and sarcasm. BTS revealed that they could not recall the unfairness and sadness right away. However, those feelings did make them work harder and be more ambitious and successful.
Coming from a small company, BTS was not expected to make it big. Therefore, they were frequently mocked during the early days of their debut.
