BTS Jungkook builds a mansion after gifting his older brother an apartment worth 4 billion won

It was reported that Jungkook, the youngest member of boy group BTS, would pull down the detached house in Itaewon that he bought 2 years ago and build a mansion.

According to Biz Korea’s exclusive report on April 4th, Jungkook is building a mansion with 2 basement floors and 3 ground floors on the site of the detached house in Itaewon-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul that he bought. The existing detached house is currently demolished.

The media reported that Jungkook received permission to build a detached house from the Yongsan-gu Office in July last year, and completed the demolition of the existing building in December of the same year.

The detached house Jungkook is building has 2 basement floors and 3 ground floors, with a total floor area of 1161.04㎡ (351 pyeong). The scheduled completion date is May 31st next year.

Earlier in November 2020, Jungkook purchased the house for about 7.63 billion won. This house is known to have been built in 1976. It has a total floor area of 230.74㎡ and a land area of 637㎡.

After purchasing this house, Jungkook gifted his older brother an apartment worth 4 billion won in Yongsan City Park, Yongsan-gu, Seoul. The area of the apartment is 184.49㎡.

Meanwhile, Jungkook is meeting the public through individual activities that reveal his color, such as collaborations with prominent overseas artists after BTS’ group activities were suspended. Recently, Jungkook proved to be a trending star as the products he wore as an ambassador for fashion brand C were sold out.
