BTS Jimin Recounts the Story of Arguing with Jungkook During Trainee Days

BTS Jimin recounts a touching anecdote about a fight he had with Jungkook during their trainee years.

In a recent live broadcast, BTS Jimin recounted the story of arguing with Jungkook in the practice room during their trainee days when it was raining.

Jimin said, “I watched Jungkook’s live. Let me tell you guys about this story. Back when I was young, I was kind of a kkondae (t/n: an oldie who values age and hierarchy). Me, Taehyung (V), and Jungkook were sitting together, and I told Jungkook to treat the hyungs better. It’s really funny because I was young too at that time. I was mad, so I said some things to Jungkook and left. He was really upset. We were in the practice room, and I said some harsh words, then I went back to the dorm.

He continued, “I kept receiving several calls from Jungkook, so I answered and told him not to call me anymore. Then he burst into tears and said he didn’t know where he was. I told him to take a taxi back, and I would wait for him at the entrance.

Jimin went on, “I stood outside waiting for about an hour, and it started raining heavily. There was a shelter on the rooftop, so we went up there. Jungkook said, ‘Hyung, I’m sorry,’ and we hugged each other tightly.

Jimin said, “The next day, we had a recording scheduled for 6-7 a.m., and Jungkook’s eyes were swollen. We were supposed to take photos. What year was it? I think I was 21? Maybe it was 8 years ago. I felt really sorry towards Jungkook. The members also talked a lot about this incident.”
