Ranking last in the previous 2 competitions, Brave Girls might not be able to continue their journey with “Queendom 2”.
The teaser for the new episode of Mnet’s “Queendom 2”, which will air on May 19th, was recently released. The teaser video shows queens preparing for the second round of the third competition. In particular, WJSN drew attention as they said, “We have a hidden card”.
WJSN’s hidden card is Bona. Bona is the member who could not appear on the previous rounds of “Queendom 2” because she was starring in tvN’s drama “Twenty-five, Twenty-one”. Not being able to join previous filmings, Bona surprised everyone with her sudden appearance on the stage and showed off her aspect as an idol. Seeing Bona, other team members reacted, “That’s Ko Yu-rim”, “I feel like watching the drama”, etc.
Like WJSN, Hyolyn also showed her confidence in this round. She appeared with a relaxed expression and said, “I have no team to keep in check. My goal is to be the No.1”.
However, in the ranking announcement scene that followed, it seems like Hyolyn failed to win 1st place. The fact that Hyolyn, who won No.1 against other teams with overwhelming points in the first and second competitions, did not top the ranking this time shocked everyone.
Brave Girls, who finished the second competition in 6th place, is on the verge of being sent back home. In “Queendom 2”, there is a rule that any team that ranks No.6 for two consecutive weeks will be eliminated from the show. Brave Girls ranked last in the rankings of the first and second competitions because of their poor performances.
Brave Girls members looked really worried knowing their situation. Yu-jeong once shed tears as she wondered, “Are we that bad?”. While the anxious appearance of Brave Girls was shown, MC Lee Yong-jin drew attention as he said, “If Brave Girls continue to come in 6th place, they will be eliminated. Our production team, please check the result one more time”.
MC Tae-yeon continued, “They have worked really hard for the past two months”. Other teams reacted “Isn’t this the first time?”, “For real?”, as they were in great shock. In this situation, Brave Girls’s Min-young burst into tears and said, “I’m upset but I will have to accept it. There’s no other way”.
Viewers are looking forward to the main broadcast to see whether Brave Girls will be eliminated or not and which team will take the No.1 place from Hyolyn.
Meanwhile, “Queendom 2” airs every Thursday at 9:20 p.m.
