BLACKPINK’s Lisa confirmed as House Ambassador of Louis Vuitton
Louis Vuitton and BLACKPINK’s Lisa have both shown excitement regarding the announcement of the new ambassadorship.
On July 23, fashion magazine ELLE USA published an article confirming that BLACKPINK’s Lisa has become the newest House Ambassador of luxury fashion brand Louis Vuitton.
In particular, Louis Vuitton artistic director Nicolas Ghesquière said in a press release, “I am very excited to welcome Lisa as a house ambassador”, adding, “She has a daring spirit and charisma that I find incredibly compelling. She is as bold and creative with her music as she is with her fashion, and it is a privilege to accompany her on this journey.”
Meanwhile, Lisa also revealed her own feelings about the collaboration, saying, “I feel so honored to be working with such a great brand that I admire. So I’m really looking forward to making greater moments with Louis Vuitton. Throughout the many years, Louis Vuitton has always maintained their originality, and their iconic monogram is such a historic piece that is popular until this day, so I aim to be someone who can maintain originality.”
It is known that Lisa has previously hinted about this ambassadorship in the lyrics for her latest solo single “Rockstar”, where she sang, “Tight dress, LV sent it / Oh shit, Lisa reppin’.”
