BLACKPINK’s Jisoo and Rosé cutely reacted to a fansite’s unexpected prank.
K-pop fansites play a significant role in capturing and sharing the memorable moments of idols. Some fansites even have the opportunity to build personal connections with their idols because of frequent encounters.
Recently, BLACKPINK Jisoo and Rosé showcased the unique bond they share with a dedicated fansite of Rosé, FirstLove (@firstlove_rose on Twitter). FirstLove is recognized by BLACKPINK members themselves.
When Jisoo and Rosé were about to embark on a flight to London at Incheon Airport on July 2, they encountered a surprise. FirstLove approached the two and gave out a formal-looking envelope that appeared to be a wedding invitation.
Jisoo gasped, her hand instinctively covering her mouth, clearly taken aback by the unexpected news. Rosé’s disbelief was evident as she eagerly grabbed hold of the envelope.
Jisoo, unable to contain her shock, questioned, “Are you really getting married?” Rosé affectionately referred to the fansite master as “unnie,” exclaiming, “Unnie, you’re getting married?“
However, what initially seemed like a surprising wedding announcement turned out to be a prank. As Jisoo and Rosé opened the envelope, they were greeted with the words “Just joking.” Realizing they had fallen for the joke, they both burst into laughter.
