FIFTY FIFTY sets new record on the UK’s Official Charts

Girl group FIFTY FIFTY set another new record.

According to the UK’s Official Charts released on May 12th, FIFTY FIFTY‘s “Cupid” ranked 8th on the “Official Singles Chart Top 100” and remained in the Top 100 for 7 consecutive weeks.

They already recorded the highest performance in the history of K-pop girl groups as “Cupid” ranked 9th on the Official Charts last week. FIFTY FIFTY’s “Cupid” continued its steady upward trend on the “Official Singles Chart Top 100” from No.96, No.61, No.34, No.26, No.18, No.9 to No.8.

FIFTY FIFTY set a new record this time, befitting their nickname “Girls of Record”.

Now, BTS and Psy are the only K-pop artists who have higher records than FIFTY FIFTY on the “Official Singles Chart Top 100”.

Meanwhile, the title track “Cupid” of FIFTY FIFTY’s first single “The Beginning: Cupid” released on February 24th ranked 19th on the “Billboard Hot 100” week of May 13th. No.19 on the Billboard Hot 100 is the highest record for a single song by a K-pop girl group.
