BLACKPINK Jisoo appears like a “flower goddess” at fan event “Flower House”

BLACKPINK member Jisoo visited the “Flower House” set up in Seongsu-dong, Seoul, on March 31st, the day of her solo debut.

On March 31st, BLACKPINK Jisoo held a fan event called “JISOO’S FLOWER HOUSE” at Platz S in Seongsu-dong to celebrate the release of her first solo album, “ME”. Jisoo’s “Flower House” was open from 1 PM to 9 PM (KST).

The event space visually reproduced Jisoo’s new album concept. The venue was decorated with Jisoo’s portraits on the walls, flowers, which are the main objects of “ME”, and an overall elegant mood and atmosphere, commemorating her solo debut.

Custom-packaged flowers were also given to all visitors that day. Special benefits for on-site album pre-order customers, SNS certification events, and photo zones for capturing memories were also prepared.

Meanwhile, Jisoo’s first solo album “ME” was released at 1 PM KST on March 31st. The album contains a total of 2 tracks, including the title track “Flower” and the B-side “All Eyes On Me”. According to the Hanteo Chart on April 1st, “ME” sold 875,149 copies on the day of its release, which is the highest sales figure for a single album by a female solo artist in South Korea. It is also known that Jisoo is the only female solo artist to achieve this number on the day of release.

Jisoo’s first solo album “ME” recorded 950,000 pre-orders within the first two weeks of pre-sales (based on March 20th) and surpassed 1.31 million copies in three weeks. With this momentum, Jisoo is expected to become the first K-pop female solo artist to achieve the “million seller” status.

The title track “Flower” has so far topped the iTunes Top Songs charts in a total of 60 countries, including the United States. It is also ranked at the top in major domestic music charts.
