BLACKPINK Called “Most Global Female Group of All-time” by Western Media
A list of “60 most global artists of all-time” has drawn significant attention with its highlight of girl group BLACKPINK.
Recently, Western media site ChartMasters published its list for “The 60 most global artists of all-time”, which include various top-tier artists like Micheal Jackson, The Beatles, and Taylor Swift.
Notably, among those, BLACKPINK was mentioned at No. 58, making them the only female group on the list, and so the most global female group of all-time.
Additionally, BLACKPINK is also one of the only 2 Kpop acts mentioned, alongside BTS at Np. 46.
Regarding BLACKPINK’s entry, ChartMasters wrote, “BLACKPINK highlights how universally popular K-Pop has become. They tie with metal legends Iron Maiden, well known for touring and filling out stadiums all around the world.”
