BIGBANG member Taeyang will meet MCs Yoo Jae Suk and Jo Se Ho on “You Quiz On the Block.”
According to Newsen on April 18th, the production team of tvN’s “You Quiz On The Block” officially stated, “Taeyang will appear on ‘You Quiz’. It is scheduled to be broadcast in mid-April.”
This is Taeyang’s first appearance on “You Quiz.” The program not only shares episodes related to the guest’s profession but also their personal stories through candid talk.
Taeyang, a member of BIGBANG and a solo artist, is expected to share various stories as well as his married life with his wife, actress Min Hyo Rin.
On April 25th at 1 pm KST, Taeyang will release his new solo album “Down to Earth.” The title track is “Seed.” BLACKPINK member Lisa participated in the album as a featured artist.
Previously, on January 13th, Taeyang released a new digital single “VIBE.” Thanks to his collaboration with BTS’s Jimin, the song achieved remarkable success, reaching the top spot in iTunes in 100 regions, topping the US Billboard Hot Trending Song and Oricon Daily Digital Single charts in Japan, as well as achieving 100 million streams on Spotify in just 66 days.
As he prepares for his comeback, Taeyang terminated his exclusive contract with YG Entertainment in December of last year, which he had been with for 16 years. He has signed an exclusive contract with The Black Label, led by producer Teddy.
