BABYMONSTER Confirms Official Fandom Name ‘MONSTIEZ’ and Launches Original Content Series
The girl group BABYMONSTER has announced their official fandom name.
On the 27th, YG Entertainment (hereafter YG) announced through a video posted on their official blog that BABYMONSTER’s first official fandom name has been confirmed as “MONSTIEZ.”
“MONSTIEZ” is a combination of “MON’S,” a shorthand for the team name, and “TIES,” meaning bonds, signifying the close relationship where members and fans can rely on and support each other.

The accompanying light stick design features a red horn symbolizing BABYMONSTER atop a white hemisphere and is scheduled for official release soon.
Along with the fandom name announcement, BABYMONSTER has launched their own content series, “BAEMON NEWS 7,” to maintain active communication with fans.
YG stated, “We have launched this new content to meet the enthusiastic support of fans who want to feel closer to BABYMONSTER’s charm. We plan to continuously release fun videos showcasing the members’ unique wit and vibrant chemistry, so please look forward to it.”
Meanwhile, BABYMONSTER will hold their first domestic fan meeting on August 10th and 11th, and will also perform at Japan’s largest music festival, “SUMMER SONIC 2024.”
