Attrakt To Produce New Girl Group Audition Program With JTBC

FIFTY FIFTY’s agency Attrakt joins hands with JTBC to launch their new girl group project

Amid the ongoing dispute with FIFTY FIFTY, Attrakt is pushing ahead with their new girl group project. The agency previously announced that they would select members for a new girl group through an audition program.

According to Newsen on October 20th, Attrakt’s new girl group audition program will likely be produced in cooperation with JTBC. It’s confirmed that both sides are coordinating last-minute details.

An official said, “This audition program will be very different from the existing ones”, adding “We will do our best to make a sincere program”.

Suffering a crisis due to the legal dispute over exclusive contracts with FIFTY FIFTY members, Attrakt seems to have been given a good opportunity. The court rejected FIFTY FIFTY’s request for a contract suspension injunction in the first trial, then member Keena withdrew her appeal and returned to the company.

In addition, Attrakt has succeeded in attracting a large amount of investments from foreign investors and arousing keen public interest in their new girl group project. The agency has reportedly received more than 1,000 demos from overseas producers.

Producer Alawn is also confirmed to be composing songs for Attrakt’s new girl group. In particular, Alawn has worked with many top K-pop idols, such as IVE, NCT 127, Super M, EXO’s Kai, etc., and has written more than 15 ‘Billboard No.1’ songs.

As Attrakt is confidently carrying out their new girl group project with the goal to debut the group next year, expectations are high on whether they will be able to create another “miracle of small and medium-sized agencies”.
