LE SSERAFIM’s Kazuha went viral for catwalk clip, netizens demanded HYBE to change the group’s center

A clip of LE SSERAFIM Kazuha surpassed 1 million views, leaving Kim Garam replaceable?

LE SSERAFIM, the first girl group of HYBE Labels, officially debuted on May 2nd with the title song “FEARLESS”. However, the group’s line up has caused a lot of controversies, with 2 members embroiled in scandals: the leader Kim Chaewon accused of cheating in “Produce 48”, and Kim Garam accused of school violence.

In the case of Garam, HYBE received a lot of criticize for dismissing the public opinion and defending an alleged bully. To make matters worse, Garam is also the center for two of the group’s songs, including the title “FEARLESS” and b-side “Blue Flame”.

Amid these controversies, the member Kazuha suddenly trended on social media, leading to netizens demanding for her to be the center instead. In particular, a fan account for the idol posted cuts of Kazuha in LE SSERAFIM’s debut showcase, and a video of the idol catwalking has attracted over 1 million views within 24 hours.

Some comments from netizens:

  • If I haven’t known, I would think that she’s Korean. She looks like she can star in a K-drama.
  • Such a natural smile… Kazuha really brightens the stage
  • Wow this is the first time I noticed a female idol this hard. Her visuals are so impressive.
  • HYBE should kick out Kim Garam and make this one the center instead.
