Attrakt CEO commissioned Marvel designer for FIFTY FIFTY’s costumes?

It is belatedly reported that FIFTY FIFTY’s agency Attrakt commissioned expensive costumes from a Hollywood production center.

On July 14th, Vanessa Lee, a designer who is working for Hollywood, revealed on her personal Twitter account the story of when Attrakt CEO Jeon Hong Joon asked her to make costumes for FIFTY FIFTY.

Vanessa Lee was in charge of styling special costumes for popular works, such as “Iron Man”, “X-Men 3”, “Avengers”, “Thor”, “Star Trek” and many other Marvel productions.

She said, “I didn’t intend to talk about this, but Attrakt was the first entertainment agency to ask Hollywood special costume production center to make idols’ costumes, which are so expensive that even top American singers couldn’t afford”, adding “I couldn’t do it for them due to my schedule, but I would definitely help FIFTY FIFTY with there is a second chance.”

Referring to the term “buyout” in the Hollywood entertainment industry, Vanessa Lee said, “To explain this term in a positive way, it means ‘a deal in which the artists and agencies no longer receive rights and copyrights income as soon as the someone paid all the money for production’. In a more simple way, it’s ‘take this money and let go of your hand’. I don’t allow my daughter, who is an unknown actress, to join auditions with ‘buyouts’.”

“Buyout” was mentioned by CEO Jeon Hong Joon in his disclosure. He said, “The Givers CEO Ahn Sung Il tried to proceed with a buyout for FIFTY FIFTY”.

Meanwhile, FIFTY FIFTY filed an injunction against Attrakt last month to suspend their exclusive contract with the company. The girl group demanded a contract termination due to various reasons, including non-transparency of revenue and insufficient settlement data, violation of physical and mental health management obligations, and lack of human and material resources and support capabilities.

Later, Attrakt claimed that The Givers CEO Ahn Sung Il was the mastermind behind the incident and filed a lawsuit with the Gangnam Police Station against him on charges of obstruction of business, destruction of electronic data, and embezzlement.
