“Now, We Are Breaking Up” released photos of the actors at the first script reading, raising expectations for Song Hye Kyo and Jang Ki Yong’s chemistry

The viewers are getting more excited for “Now, We Are Breaking Up” after the release of the cast script-reading photos.

On September 30, SBS uploaded photos taken at the script reading day for their new drama “Now We Are Breaking Up”. In particular, the audiences are anticipating seeing how the chemistry between actress Song Hye Kyo and actor Jang Ki Yong would be.

Now We Are Breaking Up

Song Hye Kyo and Jang Ki Yong attended the first script reading of “Now, We Are Breaking Up” in April. PD Lee Gil Bok, writer Jae In, actors Choi Hee Seo, Kim Joo Heon, and Park Hyo Joo also appeared together at this first meeting.

Song Hye Kyo will play the role of Ha Young Eun. It is said that the actress perfectly immersed herself in her character from the beginning of the script reading section. This drama tells an honest and simple story about the friendship and love of a woman in her 30s. As expected, Song Hye Kyo led the development of the movie with her stable acting skills.

Jang Ki Yong acted as the freelance photographer Yoon Jae Guk. Especially, Jang Ki Yong’s eyes, facial expressions, and voice tone suits his character really well. He brought out the cool side or the seriousness of the character with his own style.

Their acting in romantic scenes as a couple was also really sweet. Just by having some normal conversations, Song Hye Kyo and Jang Ki Yong successfully expressed their excellent chemistry. In particular, they honestly presented the emotional lines of a man and woman in love.

Actress Choi Hee Seo also heralded a transformation in her acting. In this film, she plays Hwang Chi Sook, the design director of a fashion design company, and her character has a lacking side hidden under her luxurious appearance. The actress impressively showed off her explosion of charm that the viewers had never seen before.

The production team of “Now, We Are Breaking Up” stated, “We realized that the actors immersed themselves in their characters without showing any signs of exhaustion throughout the script reading. It was like they were filming the real scene.”

Meanwhile, “Now, We Are Breaking Up” is a drama that describes a new interpretation of love and breakup. It will be aired in November after “One The Woman” ends.
