Agency CEO Who Assaulted Minor Male Idols Sent To Prosecution Without Detention
The police reportedly sent the entertainment agency CEO who assaulted male idol group members to prosecution without detention
On the morning of June 28th, Seoul Gangnam Police Station sent CEO A of an agency, who is suspected of child abuse, special assault and special injury, to prosecution without detention.
According to the accusation, A visited the dorm of a male idol group at 4:30 a.m. on June 11th while drunk and hit the members with a weapon.
At that time, A reportedly asked the members, “Why are you guys keeping the dorm so dirty?”, and assaulted them. It is known that some members of the group are minors.
The police requested an arrest warrant for A on June 18th. However, the court rejected the warrant request, claiming that there was no possibility of the suspect escaping or destroying evidence. As a result, the police handed A over to the prosecution without detention.
