aespa Giselle had a special meeting with a big fan of hers.
Digital media channel dingo released episode 19 of “Lean On Me 2023” with Giselle through its official YouTube channel “dingo story” at 6 PM on August 25th.
“Lean On Me” is dingo’s killer content that has been produced since 2016. It is a reality program in which stars who have achieved their dreams visit fans who are running towards their dreams to convey support and hope.
In this video, Giselle met Yujin, a big fan of hers. Yujin is a young Korean girl who is trying to find her dream by taking a leave of absence from university and working part-time. Giselle made a surprise appearance after recording an audio guide for Yujin, whose hobby is art viewing. She greeted, “You did a great job coming all the way to Seoul.“
Giselle then visited a cafe with Yujin. Yujin expressed her affection as a fan towards Giselle, “This time is so sweet that Croffle doesn’t feel very sweet.” Giselle responded cheerfully, “Why are you such a flirt?” Giselle continued a friendly atmosphere by praising Yujin’s bright personality, “I keep feeling your charm.”
Giselle, who heard Yujin’s dream “My final goal is to have a cosmetics brand of my own“, praised her, “No wonder your makeup is so pretty.” Yujin made Giselle laugh with her strong determination, “I want to create a global brand that can give (Giselle) a sponsorship.“
Yujin confessed her worries, “I entered the French department with the goal of studying in France. It was a department at which I learned to do what I liked, not my favorite department, so it was very difficult because it didn’t fit me.” Giselle, who is fluent in 4 languages including Korean, Japanese, English and French, encouraged her, “I learned French for the same reason. I thought, ‘By speaking this language, my information can be broadened. It must be hard, but I think the mindset ‘I tried to learn’ is good.”
Giselle made viewers more impressed by delivering an instant film camera, a surprise gift prepared for Yujin, who loves photography. Besides, she gave Yujin special memories, such as taking commemorative photos and decorating photos together.
Finally, to Giselle, who presented a CD containing a long message of support and an autograph, Yujin said, “Your kindness makes me fall for you without hesitation.” Giselle told Yujin “I’ll be looking forward to your brand” and warmly hugged her. The broadcast ended with the two’s touching promise, “Let’s make sure to succeed and meet again.“
“Lean On Me 2023”, which was upgraded and returned thanks to viewers’ enthusiastic responses, goes beyond empathy and comfort for tired daily life. It moves everyone with messages of support for dreams and motivation for a new start.
Meanwhile, aespa is successfully continuing their first solo concert world tour “aespa LIVE TOUR 2023 ‘SYNK : HYPER LINE’”. On August 18th, they released their English single “Better Things” and are receiving positive responses.
