Lost 500,000 subs but gained 600,000, Freezia rebounded after “fake controversy”

Beauty creator and “Single’s Inferno” cast member Freezia has made a strong comeback after her fake product controversy. 

On December 16th, Freezia (also known as Song Ji Ah), who recently surpassed 2 million subscribers for her YouTube channel, expressed her gratitude through a community post. In particular, the beauty creator said, “First of all, thank you so much to all my Pringies for 2 million. It was made possible through my Pringies and [this achievement] is all yours.”

“I always say this, but thank you for being with me on my journey and I hope you all stay with me till the end of time”, Freezia expressed, adding that she will skip the week’s video.

Finally, she said, “I’m sorry for being late, my Pringies. Have an amazing last bit of 2022 and make sure to dress warmly.”

In the past, Freezia drew attention after appearing in Netflix’s original dating show “Single’s Inferno”, and her YouTube subscribers soared to 1.9 million. 

However, she became embroiled in a controversy of using fake luxury goods on YouTube and Instagram, and the number of people subscribed to Freezia fell to 1.4 million. Afterwards, Freezia apologized and took time off for self-reflection.

After returning in earnest in June, Freezia, who has been active as a beauty creator and a daily life YouTuber, achieved 2.01 million subscribers as of December 17th, even surpassing her peak before the controversy.  

On the other hand, during her hiatus for self-reflection, Freezia was spotted doing volunteer work with actress Kang Ye Won, a representative from her company.
