BTS V returned to Korea early to attend VIP premiere of “Broker” for close friend Kang Dong Won

BTS V arrived in Korea earlier than other BTS members in order to attend the VIP premiere of “Broker” and support actor Kang Dong Won, who played a leading role in the movie. 

After finishing his schedule at the White House, BTS V landed in the Incheon International Airport in the morning of June 2nd. Earlier on May 31st, he had a meeting with the US president Joe Biden at 3 p.m (local time) at the White House, and delivered various thoughts and opinions regarding social matters. 

While other BTS members remained in the US, BTS V reportedly departed for Korea as soon as his White House schedule wrapped up, so that he could make it to the VIP screening of the movie “Broker”, held at the Yongsan CGV in Seoul. 

The male idol is close friends with actor Kang Dong Won, who starred in this movie, and his appearance may be an act of support. Other members will arrive in Korea at around 6 p.m on June 2nd.

“Broker”, which recently won an award at the 2022 Cannes International Film Festival, is produced by famous director Hirokazu Koreeda and stars famous actors Song Kang Ho, Kang Dong Won, IU, Bae Doona, and Lee Joo Young. The movie, which will be publicly released on June 8th, revolves around a service called “baby box” and people related to it.
